Lincoln. He had what was needed to lead the country through a difficult time and then to help bring healing. He didn't back down even though he knew ths war wouldn't be popular and allot of people would die. OOps sorry o.k then Barney Fife then because no matter how bad he screws up we know Andy will show up and straighten things up.

I think I would pick Teddy Roosevelt. He was the best thing that has ever happened to this country. He was bright, young and fresh full of new ideas. He was OPEN minded and listended to the public. He was also smart and had a clear head. He was the best "Accident" that has ever happened to this country. =) I hate to say that I wish it would happen again.. Because someone would need to be taken out of office first.
