What do you think helps improve your jumps. Streaching, Muscle, or just practice jumping. The reason why I ask is because our squad at school will constantly do a ton of jumps but no great results until a few months. What do you think really helps?

To improve your jumps: streaching, conditioning, jumping, and proper technique.

If you really are dedicated to cheerleading, and want to improve quickly you should streach and condition more often. Not more often like once or twice every now and then. I mean like a min. of 5x a week. And yes, it seems like alot but think about it, its really not for just jumping. It can be for your over all health or just to improve your cheerleading abilities.

I have a few friends that are cheerleaders and we all take a Pilates class and it has improved their flexibility and ability to do stunts and things so much better.
Maybe you can look into Pilates?!
