Personally, I prefer to be a mother than a childless wife. Why? Because, I love children, and always wanted my own. They are precious, fun, and a huge responsibility, and worth it all. For women who choose to be a wife, and not a mother, or for whatever reason, cannot be a mom, that is their choice, or thing. For a wife that would like to be a mom, but can't, there is adoption.

I would choose to be a mother. I have always known I wanted children, and now that I have one I know that is what I would choose. There is nothing I love more in this world than my daughter. There is no feeling in the world better than hearing her call me mommy, having her give me a hug and a kiss, just looking at her and knowing no matter what she will always be part of me and I will always love her. If I had never met my husband or any other man to marry, I still would have had children, it was the one thing in life I knew I wanted. If my husband and I were unable to have children we would have adopted, there was never any question in my mind about being a mother. If I had ended up being a childless wife I wouldn't have felt complete. My daughter is my reason for being, my reason for getting up in the morning, my reason to keep going when everything else seems too much to bear.

Depends.. If it's a happy marriage (great husband, financially stable, totally in love with each other) then I would pick the childless mother.. personally because I'm scared of all the birthing process and God, kids gonna make life waaaayyy more complicated than it already is.
If I didn't have to give birth myself, then I wouldn't mind being a mother.. as long as they're not from the guy's previous girlfriend or wife.. Maybe from adoption or something..

A mother. It is a true gift to be able to have kids. Not every woman is able to have children so I think it is a miracle. I love being a wife, but having children is the cherry on top! Best thing that ever happened to me!

Childless wife. Kids just aren't anything I've ever wanted. I have no maternal instinct, and would totally suck at the job.

I know my wife would and has chosen being a mother. And she's such an awesome mom to our 3 kids. And I know she'd never trade it ever to not have kids. Our kids are such a blessing from God, and we wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

Its very true if you have not had kids than you dont really know what your missing. Before I had my kids I never wanted kids.I had them basically for my husband. He wanted a family very much. Now I would'nt give my kids up for anything in the world.Just knowing that they are oozing with unconditional love is so great.I even miss them when they are at school. They are my everything.I would die without them.
