I am pessimistically optimistic. Always have been.
"Will you pass this test in school?" .... "Probably not, even if I study really hard... but I think somehow I'll make up for it with the rest of my grades this year. It'll be ok. Everything happens for a reason." I do this stuff all the time. Drives my boyfriend crazy, I think. I always see the bad before the good just to prepare myself if something bad happens. I don't want to be caught off guard when I think something is going perfect and then fails miserably. I want to be shocked that something turned out perfectly without a hitch! It surprises me every time! lol

pessimists ALWAYS call themselves a realist but they are so wrong about that. They are negative and in denial.
I am a die-hard optimist
What pesimists dont get that if things go wrong for an optimist the optimist would most-likey not feelbad because they would find rhe good instead of being depressed about it.
pessimists are just a bore and like to feel sorry for themselves
