If the Shuffle seems too small for you, that's what the Nano is for. However, there is no player on the market right now that is as ideally suited to jogging, between the feather-light weight, the built-in clip, and the fact that you don't need to bother fussing around with the controls (just pick whether you want it to play in Shuffle mode, or run straight through the songs in the original playlist order). They aren't, however, well suited to general use. I'd never hook one up to my car stereo for long road trips, for one, and between the tiny capacity and the lack of playback options I don't think they'd be much fun to use regularly at work either. But for jogging, there's none better.

I would loose it--- people loose wallets, keys etc. And the i-pod shuffle is so much smaller! + there's no screen how the heck are you gonna find you song? + not much memory about 200 songs...

Because it wasn't a good idea to make it the size of a tennis racket.
