Its a rock song that is around 8 years old the chorus goes "I dont care gotta lose myself to get somewhere, and if i dont rewind then i might be the victim of a superstar thousand yard stare. some of the lyrics might be a little off.

I think your talking about doubleDrive ..
The title track, "1000 Yard Stare", is one of the bands heaviest songs with perhaps the bands most outstanding lyrics.
Hamby sings "I don't care, gotta lose myself to get somewhere, but if im gone to long then i might be a victim of that superstar, 1000 yard stare, cover my eyes, and the movie will still come in clear". The band slows down leading into the wicked solo to close it out.
