I like winter the most. I favor the cold weather because I live in a state that experiences hot miserable weather for 3/4ths of the year. I look forward to winter because I get a break from work and from school for the holidays. When it's cold, I have an excuse to put a log on the fire, cuddle up in a sleeping bag or have a hot bowl of soup or a cup of cocoa. There is a chance for inclement weather days off from work as well. I also like it when the sun sets earlier. I am definitely a night owl. Cold and dark, that's how I like it!

My favorite season of the year is the Fall because my birthday is in September and I had twin girls on my birthday and I can remember bringing them home from the hospital and the air was fresh and the smell was wonderful. The trees were a beautiful sight and it was just a magical day for me. Every Fall, when the leaves turn and the air is crisp again, I think back to that day and my heart flies out of my chest. It was 12 years ago.

It has finally come! Spring. This is when The water at the beach is usually warm enough to start going in and body surfing. In case you don't know what that is, it is taking a wave without a board. I have been doing this for many years.
I also like to take long drives and hikes at this time of year, so I can see all of the flowers blooming. It is a magical time of the year.

Autumn. Autumn is the time to begin a new school year. We all know how fast the school year goes. This is the time to cherish the memories because before you know it, you graduate and the rest of the year is to salvage what you got left. It's a time in which Daylight Savings time means a hour more of sleep and an hour more of staying up late and not doing the opposite. Autumn means Halloween and the candy and decorations that come along with it. With this comes the early display of Thanksgiving and Christmas items in the stores. Its the start of the best time of the year because Autumn is festive. The colors of Autumn to me represents the colors of sunset --- the prettiest time of the day.

My favourite season is spring. It puts a spring in my step and a smile on my face to see all the flowers peeping out of the ground and trees getting their buds. Spring has to be the most gratifying season after winter it feels good to spring into action. Even the birds are singing more joyfully.

My favorite season of the year is the summer time. The kids are out of school and theres so much to do. We don't have to worry about being on a schedule, we can hang out at the pool all day long or we can stay inside in our jammies and watch movies if we want to. The kids don't have any pressure of getting their homework done or after school things like French club or band (for awhile anyway) and its just really the best time.....because we can all be together and have fun!

I like Fall, because I like the cool weather and the smell of burning leaves. It also means the start of the holiday season, and starting in October, my sister and I have traditions we do from then through Christmas. It's just a time of year when people are really happy usually. Plus, I can start to wear my sweaters again, because lord knows I have a gazillion of them and they are lonely from not being used all summer!!!

Fall, but only for the real week of fall. In Minnesota fall lasts for only one week and it is the most beautiful thing I see every year. The leaves actually cascade in billions of colors. It starts with the smell of fall, when everything stops being green, and ends when all the leaves are down and the trees are ugly and bare again. Really though, I just like the smell of freshly fallen leaves, that kind of musky smell that is similar to the smell of cold but it's warmer.

Spring. My first birthday was on Easter. Everything is new. My favorite childhood memories are from the Spring. For example: Watermelon seed spitting contests; playing in the rain; running through the sprinklers; sitting outside, drinking tea under the Oak tree; riding horses, and etc.

Spring because it's a time of newness and freshness. A break from the bleak winter.
Summer because it's hot enough for swimming and there's no school. Plenty of time to play in the woods.
Fall because the leaves change colors and fall so that you can jump in piles of them. It starts to cool down a bit and it's a great time for scarves.
Winter because it snows sometimes and everyone wants to cuddle. Hot chocolate and cozy fires!
