and it asked me if i wan to restore ORIGINAL settings...it said all songs will be deleted..and i didnt have a problem with that because i didnt like the music on it anyway...so i said yes...it erased everything then it promted me to unplug from usb port and plug into the wall outlet....but my friendd didnt give me anything charger by outlet..only by usb....and so theres a picture of an outlet on my ipod screen and it wont let me in or add song anymore...it just stays on that picture////help!

what you have to do is reset your ipod, hold the menu and the middle button for a while and a little apple should come up and that should fix the problem

ps im not sure if its the menu and middle button or the puase/play button and the middle button try them both

I'm not absolutely certain, but I believe an iPod mini requires a docking port. If your friend cannot provide this or solve your problem... you may want to get your money back and give him back his useless device.

FYI: ipods kinda suck. Something PC based is much more flexible as far as what types of files it can use.

Leave it plugged into the PC for 20hr this will charge the ipod.

you need to buy a wall charger if you want the battery to last.
