It is painful when you lose someone close, and your life will be different without them, but he'd want you to follow whatever plans you'd got. You could maybe even have the b-day party, to remember him and what a great person he was. You and your best friend have got to help each other get through this, you could perhaps plan something that'll keep you busy and help take your mind of his death. Try not to be sad about him dying, but happy about his life.

It is so difficult to lose a good friend or family member.
When I was in high school one of my best friends died of cancer. My dad died. I adored him and miss him so much.
Then I had a son die.

I don't think we ever get over the death of someone we love
We just learn to live with it. Eventually the pain lessons.

It is ok to cry. It is ok to miss the person. But, it isn't ok to stop living. He wouldn't want you to ruin your life because of his passing. So, grieve, then live life.

Remember the good times.

You might need to get some counseling.

Death is part of life. It sucks big time to lose someone.
Non of us know how many years we have so we need to live life the best we can.

Concerning his birthday, you can gather with your friends and bring pictures and light candles in the night and remember what he meant to you all.

Take good care of yourself. This will hurt bad, It is one of those things that you can't go around it, can't ignore it, can't go under it.....you just have to go through it.

If you know his parents they might like you to say hello to them once in awhile.

Go to a conselour or to somebody who will listen to you and support you. Just talk about how you are feeling. Find somebody whose shoulder you can cry on.
I know it is hard, but he would probably want you to grieve for him a little while and then get on with life while still remembering the happy times that you had together.

you've already done a very good thing by remembering what a good friend he was and the things that he did that made him a good friend

you can be happy that you were privileged enough to share some of his time on earth

that is a memory that you will always have that is not available to others

you can always let his memory be an inspiration to you

i'm sorry for your loss and i hope this helps

first off, i am so sorry. i know that it is going to be hard for you to deel with this and i am sorry to say this but i really don't think you can get over this. he was someone that you fell near to and it is going to be hard but the best thing to do is talk to someone that you trust or write how you fell on a paper. and go to the party and speak a few wods to his family and friends and let them know you care for him. till now just let the pain out but someone day the pain will go away.

good luck and just pray to god and let him know that your near and dear friend is up there with him and you want god to help ease the pain

i know losing someone really close can affect you a lot but you have to learn to go on with your life...don't you think your friend would want that?
