Yes,I love them and they're worth every dollar.I put them on my Sportster because I was cramped up all the time and my hip would get cramped up,now I can stretch out my legs and have no more problems.

I love cruisers, but if you have long legs they are a problem. I have forward controls on my Harley FXD. I am 6'-3". The mid controls had my legs bent in an awkward angle and it was difficult for me to shift. I knew I wouldn't be able to ride for long in this position, so the forward controls went on. Problem solved. My legs now are more stretched out and I can ride all day. They were ideal for my situation. Not everyone has them to just look cool. Oh, and yes they were and still are worth every penny I paid for them.

Yeah for the feet in the breeze, layed back riding position, without having to pull your feet back to brake or shift if you just have forward pegs but no forward controls. Personally I don't like that riding position. I have a Beemer and like the traditional BMW "semi-croutch", similar to the folded over crotch-rocket position but not like the "laying on the tank" position. Works good for me, I can stay in that position for a few hours no problem, done it many many times, drain the fuel tank and that's over 5 gallons worth of riding. Will vary positions a little bit by changing to the rider or passengers pegs.

No, I prefer to have my feet under me. When riding a bike with forward controls I can't stand up on the pegs if crossing over an obstacle, railroad tracks, etc.
