Ok, so in Face Down by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, it goes like this, at the beginning of the song:
"Hey girl, you know you drive me crazy
One look puts the rythym in my hand"
What does that mean? Does it mean what I think it means, or it is a metaphore for something else?
It's drivin' me nuts!

Exactly, Ely. This line just doesn't fit the meaning of the rest of the song. It's such a deep song, that part just doesn't make sense to me, haha...

Not having heard the song myself I can only take a guess. However, if the rest of song does not fit the meaning you think perhaps it means looking at her puts the rythym in his hand when he plays the guitar, piano, drums or any other instrument he plays.

but maybe it means he drives her so insane from not leaving that guy that he gets mad and puts all his anger(aka rhythem) into his hand as if he wants to hit her or something.
I don't know.
I'm totally guessing on this one.

judging by the whole song i don't think it means that. I think it means one look from the girl put the rhythym in his hand a.k.a. making music - playing guitar, making actual rhythyms... since hes talking about abuse i don't think he's talking about jacking off to a girl with a beat up face... just my take though

idk maybe its like the rhythem for clapping. who knows... rock bands like that have personal lyrics sometimes that arnt meant to be understod. but id think its what your thinking it wouldnt fit w/ a song about womanizing an abuse
