I am a guy. I rent rooms out in my house, a beautiful house overlooking a lake. Without exception, the women I've rented to have turned out to be the most trouble, whereas only a smattering of men have been this way.

One woman was extremely picky, complaining about every little thing, like who else lived in the house. Another had to have her little doggie and she slept with literally three new guys every week, and she was always late on the rent. Another moved in then tried to weasel out of the deposit by claiming she already paid me two months of rent. Another was a total whack job who was convinced at 33 that she would be a big time singer, even though she was talentless and fat, slept with a guy in the house then cried that he did not love her, tried to stay without paying rent, threatened to falsely accuse me of sexual assault if she did not get her way, stole other people's food, and could not wash her own dishes. Two were filthy annoying slobs.

What the heck is going on?

I think you may have poor judgement! You should be more careful who you rent your place to.

I've had a few flatmates, both men and women, and it always went fine, except for the last one who was a man, and who was the dirtiest person I've ever seen. I'm not crazy about house-cleaning, but when you share a place, you have to do it once a week. This guy never did anything, and always ate my food, so... That being said, I haven't decided to blame all men for that!!!

I think we could find plenty of examples where some men and some women are just annoying to live with! It comes down to each individual, not your gender.

I have to agree with you. Even though I am a woman, I have to agree with you-most women are a pain in the you know what. The best roomates I ever had were straight males. Women play games, manipulate, and try to get away with things that a guy would never even think of doing. (Gay men are just like women when it comes to this.) You need to have a questionaire or something to weed out these weirdos. Or get a better job so you don't have to live with other people.

I sympathize with your situation. Maybe your realizing that women are human just like men, and can act just as bad regardless to what the media and those with PhD's will say and publish. However, you may also be subconsiously choosing to only see and notice the bad women, over the bad men, and then concluding that women are more screwed up.

From my experience, both men AND women can equally cause problems and act like immature children. And both can act mature and wise. I don't think one is more screwed up than the other.

people in transition occasionally/often live within confused and less secure personal life-styles.

thats a fact.

so...you are going to meet with others in the space-rental operations who are unsettled.

male or female will show stresses present/active within their gender demographics.

life teaches them in transit where is there home...
