Does anyone know what the test in May covers? Is it like the SAT all over again?

If you've already been accepted this test isn't going to make them change the acceptance.

Actually its probably the placement exam - to be sure you do not need any remedial courses such as Math, English or History prior to taking any of the college level courses.

I had to take a placement exam when I started college because it had been more than five years since I graduated high school and ended up needing Remedial Algebra.

I wouldn't worry too much about the test. If your weak in any subject area, they will place you in the class that will help you get ready for the classes ahead. Its designed to help you succeed in college, so you don't get in over your head immediately.

(Not just you, its for everyone - different schools have different policies on who has to take a placement exam, some require all students, some require certain students like myself having been out of school for so long, or some that have graduated high school with a low GPA, etc. )

Relax! If you are accepted, the only ways they can revoke your admission is if you provided inaccurate information or do really bad your senior year.

In May you will take placement tests in English, Math, and possibly in a foreign language that you studied in high school. Some people study for these because after all they are tests. However, they are only there to see what classes you should start out with in college. If you happen to cram, do better than you would've otherwise and forget the material, you may not enjoy your first quarter of college. Think of it as a trial run or a measurement of the baseline.

It probably the acceptance exam. You'll do fine if you score well on tests. Don't be anxious. If you had the stuff to get in- you should have the same stuff to stay. You could ask what it covers but I'm sure it probably has English and Math. Mine did....So, sure- it's like the SAT.
