if you trust him, sure if not, no. Tell him to get his own computer.
Be aware, he might not be using it for games, might be surfing porn or hacker sites or something.
I don't allow anyone else to use my computer, not even my wife, i bought her, her own computer, and I don't use hers.

Absolutely not...I don't share my computer with no one, not even my spouse. I sure wouldn't share it with a room mate. Tell him to get his own!!

tell them you dont mind on occasion but you dont want him to make a habit of it because if it happened to tear up while he was using it it would bother you to ask him to replace it evn though you would have no choice.

I would say no, but be polite. It is your property and if he breaks it, is he going to replace it, I don't think so. Plus using it that late would keep you awake. Be firm, say Sorry.
