You've not really defined what you mean by "God". A creator of the universe, I cannot disprove that... But if someone says "there is no God", it is easy to prove if you make basic assumptions like:

God is all-powerful
God is all-loving

It's easy to prove those two cannot be true at the same time. You don't have to look very far to find needless suffering, death, famine, you name it, everywhere. But not only in todays age... Throughout all history you see time and time again: despicable, unfair and merciless tragedies... You have to ask: what kind of all-powerful and all-loving God would allow for this?

Anyone can then make their religion polytheistic, by adding the Devil. A clever, but slightly embarrassing counter-statement... Every piece of scientific evidence we have found so far shows totally rational explanations for everything. Events which had been assumed to be divine in origin are now secular. For earthquakes, we now have geology. For plagues, we now have biology. And no where in the scientific explanations will you see any God at work.

No spirits or gods have shown up anywhere, with our ever-growing precision on how to measure nature. Every breakthrough in science pushes the "spirit world" of God and the Devil further back. Even the idea of "souls" is not safe from modern neuroscience; everything can be explained as a chemical and electrical reaction among neurons in your brain -- no god, devil or soul in sight.

The entire weight of science is evidence against the existence of God.

Disproof requires an exhaustive examination of all possibilities. To do this one would first have to develop a provably sure God test. Then one would have to turn over every rock in the universe at the same time and test for God. Then, if no God was found, all that one could prove is that God was not in the known universe at the time of the test. Proof of existence only requires a single encounter.

It is impossible to prove that there isn't a God. The whole concept of God is based on faith. When you ask to prove that something does or does not exist, you are suggesting that there is empirical evidence that supports your case. However, there are no qualitative nor quantitative experiments that one can run in order to prove or deny the existence of God.The idea of God is purely determined by what you BELIEVE to be true not what you KNOW to be true. It is impossible to prove that there isn't a God, just like it is impossible to prove that there is one.

It would be easy to take any part of our world today and use it as proof that their is no God and we are just a random life force with no reason for existence other than pure chance. Many people believe that. I do not, because in the midst of all the horrible things that are happening their are many glowing examples of wonderful things happening that there just has to be something a little stronger than chance at work here. I cannot prove their is no God, nor do I wish to, It is our faith in a superior master that keeps us relatively civil and gives us hope and morals to live by.

God is a creation of man by definition. I can prove there isn't "a God" because there are many of them.

It's pretty tough, if not impossible, to prove the lack of existence of something. You can't prove there is no God, but you also can't prove there is no flying purple people eater, either.

Why would you ask something like that? Here is a better question "Prove that god does exist".Do you have any prove that he exist? Or do you believe in the bible and believe what you dont know is real and what your told to believe.Yes I know that your soppose to have faith but omg.Does it say anything about dinosours in the bible and yet we find there skeletons.

The burden of proof, of course, is on those who insist there is one.

Otherwise one could equally demand PROVE there aren't witches, PROVE there aren't fairies and trolls and hobbits and anything else.

Easy: if we live in a world of free will, there is no God. Free will + actions = accountability for these actions. Therefore if God DID commit the act of creating us, he'd be responsible for us and, respectively, our actions; uplifting all accountability we would otherwise have for said actions. This is a complete objection and contradiction to any purpose/meaning we uphold for ourselves, creating a world of nihilism. Thus, God can't exist in such a world.

If you can't prove that there is one, then you can't prove there isn't one too
