Speaking for myself only:
- a good sense of humor so he can still make me laugh when I'm mad or just having a bad day
- intelligence and sense so we can always have something to talk about
- romantic, in the truest sense, not the Romeo and Juliet stuff
- one who is true to himself; not a fake, not a flake
- good provider for obvious reasons
- knows how to take care of himself, again for obvious reasons
- knows what to do (and what not to do) in between the sheets
- knows how to get along with people
