My grandparents were never that way. They were always kind and welcomed us and enjoyed our company. Maybe some people that are old get offended easily because they had a rough life.

I doubt I will get offended more easily when I get older. I guess they were born that way.

Our tolerance level lessens over time. And we also come from a generation that was taught to respect older people. That's not done much anymore. Kids today are all about "me". There are exceptions of course. And to these kids i apologize.

They think everyone should bow down to them and kiss their behinds and when they get someone that treats them like a human being--not some "god"--they don't know how to act.

what do you consider old? I guess they are expecting more out of mankind...more than what they can offer sometimes...to some people, times have changed but to others time has stood still...maybe its just a generational thing..."when I was your age, I never --------!!!!"

They're pissed at how morals and manners have declined among the younger people. Take a hint.

I don't know because they are usually the ones that are rude!!! They think because they are old and set in their ways that it gives them the right to be rude.
