I would like to turbo it but without changing the factory setup and no internal engine modifications an no ECU reprogramming. Is this possible? What are the up an downs when installing it?I'm thinking of going with a t3/t4 turbo.
Can someone please list the things I need for my project and a correct setup.
Thank's...

you should ask these questions in those BMW forums. I always use that instead of yahoo answers. The BMW community is really helpful when it comes to modifications.

theres NO WAY ur stock ECU can supply the xtra fuel needed when the turbo start to generates boost.. it still gonna drive.. but with 'lean mixture'.. that can cause engine knocking, overheat then blow.. BUT..
if you get a piggyback computer module wired to the stock ecu, it enables u to tune/set the fuelling needed on boost,.and the ignition timing too.. (this stuff really work and it doesnt cost much) and with the turbo mod thing.. U need a custom 2.4mm (or more) metal type head gasket.. because the main thing in forced induction engine is always LOW Compression-Ratio .. then u need all the turbo header, exhaust dump pipe, the intercooler piping with the hoses and the clamps. then u must determind from where to feeds oil to the turbine.. (many ways) and perhaps you need a larger oil-cooler.. and thats it..
1-lower the compression-ratio
2-installing the turbo, intercooler pipes, exhaust and oil lines.
3-managing the fueling needed..(probaly need hi capcty fuel pump too)..the piggyback

caution: boost pressure must below 1.0bar (with stock internal setup)
