Try installing first a new suspension system strut and sway bars (sometimes handling is abit more important than power). Then a turbo kit, air intake, and exaust. If you want, a bodykit. But more important, try to keep the ride as light as possible like carbon fiber hood and light rims (18" is maximum, 19" above is too heavy)

Would help to know which generation eclipse gs you have. There are 4 generations of gs's, all with different engines. (Not sure about the difference between 3g and 4g engines).

Star and Hahn both make turbo kits. But without a lot more work and money you won't be able to boost too high without ruining the engine. Also your engine has to be in really good condition without a lot of miles before putting on a turbo kit unless of course you plan on doing an engine rebuild.

Check out the website below if you have a 2g non-turbo eclipse. They can give you great insight on aftermarket mods you can do.

Hrmm, what year is the eclipse?

The 3g 2000-2005, I would either do the motor swap for the 4g63 out of the Evo 5, or there are turbo kits our there for the car.

But as always you must step back and look at the total picture. If I do this what else does it affect. The aftermarket for the 3g, is actually starting to pick up a little bit. The market for the 1st and 2nd gen has tons of stuff availible

I would definitly do some searchs on club3g.com just read around, there is a lot of knowledge there.

nos, head studs, turbo, better tires, exhaust, struts and springs, intake, or buy a Starion 1987-1989 come from the factory with a turbo and rear wheel drive. just bolt on a 16G turbo and take off the first cat converter located on the down pipe and you got a 300lb 320hp rear wheel drive car.
