-Non-supportive families
-Callus doctors
-Special "big girl" clothing stores- all stores should carry all sizes from 0-XXXXXXL- we should have the size charts changed, too, to say an exact size, like men do. This would make things easier and less embarassing to say that you are a size 20, instead of XXXXL or something.

mirrors...that desire for a "perfect" image...and the people that judge you, yeh know? make you feel like you are the last thing that should be living because of how you look or whatnot
i've had an eating disorder for 11 years, and part of it was society's bidding
the other parts were me, my illness, and other contributing factors such as sever abuse, hell i wish that could actually be banned too

1) Fast food (I agree with you there)
2) Television (we need to get outside more, socialize, exercise, think, create...)
3) the "ghetto"/rap "culture" (ofcourse there is good stuff, I even listen to Eimenem sometimes, but the whole "pimp and ho" thing is extremely degrading to young women).

One thing we CAN do though it teach young women that it is ok to be themselves! Its ok to study for an exam, its ok to go to college to become a lawyer, its ok to stand up for what you believe in, and its ok to express their opinion...
