Oh I can't stand that. Happened to me just last night. I jump and end up waking myself and often my husband up when I do it. It feels like I've stopped breathing too, with my heart in my throat. Of course you know that dreaming that your falling signifies that you are going to undergo some great struggle but will rise to honor and wealth. I should wake up pretty soon a millionaire I think.

It wakes me up and scares me. Sylvia Browne the psychic says that happens when you split your body. Part of you is flying somewhere while the rest of you sleeps. When you wake up because you feel like your falling, is when the other part of your body comes back. I don't know how true that is, but somebody believes it because Sylvia Browne still keeps coming back on Montel.

That happens to me RIGHT before I fall in deep sleep. After that, I usually open my eyes and then I can't fall asleep.

Yeah, then when you catch yourself, you abruptly wake up and jump really big and kick the person in bed with you!

that happens to me all the time...its really scary and my legs do like this seizure-ish jump kinda thing.....do you think there is some kind of deep, psycological reason behind this.?

YEs!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so scary!!!!! Your feet start to shake, and everything!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes, I just wake up right after, so I can bother my brother.
