I'm no doctor but stress is a factor with alot of women, which is probably postponing her period If the test results are negative its probably negative. I would have her try another test if she has not tried one recently though. to your question about stress effecting the tests..I'm 90% sure it wouldn't.
Good luck if she takes another test and its negative and she still doesn't have her period in the next couple days she should go to the gyno or a doctor she might have a bug or something.

heks yeah...I am going thru the same thing right now....stress can play a great big role when it comes to your body....your immune system weakens and maybe that is why she is feeling sick, plus a womans menstrual cycle can be thrown off. I would make sure by going to the clinic and taking a pregnancy test thru blood draw; that is the for sure way to find out if she is pregnant. I say this because when I was pregnant with my second child all my pregnancy tests came back negative and I was actually pregnant. So just double check to be on the safe side!!!

it is probly the stress and the dieting her body is not use to either one and it can take a toll on your body. If she was pregnant she wouldn't be able to keep her eyes open around this time much less not be getting alot if sleep. because the first 3 months are the time when you just can't seem to get enough sleep and that is for any woman. I am just passing that stage. She should go and see a Dr. just to get checked out. to be on the safe side. an it is nice of you to show concern. Well good luck to you and your lady.

I don't want to say to not trust the over-the-counter tests but one that is taken in a doctor's office tests for a higher concentration of hormone levels and is therefore more reliable. Surprisingly, stressing over possibly being pregnant can give you phantom symptoms and delay your period. if she is already 2 months late, she should definetly get in to a doctor to check things out.

Stress will definitely cause her to have an irregular period. A mind is a powerful thing and you can actually make yourself sick if you "believe" you are pregnant when you actually aren't. Mind over matter. I would suggest to do one more test and if that shows negative and she is still having irregular periods then she will need to get in touch with her OBGYN.

home pregnancy test can fail .. that's why the doctor gives urine and blood test to determine pregnancy. my wife is getting a little round in the middle and repeatedly use home test that came up negative. she just went to visit her gyn doctor on advice from a counceling service she contracted so she won't know the results till she see the counceler. next month or sooner if the call her

Tests- however, are usually right....accurate. But I could be. Women usually don't miss their period for that long. If it's gone for 1 month...yup. If the doctors keep saying no, wait 3 months. It'll show.

It may be stress and it may be pregancy. I remember hearing once that you have only a certain time frame to take a pregnancy test and if you take it too early or too late it may give false results. Her best bet would be to go to the doctors.

No, if she is pregnant, the test will pick up the chemical in her urine that she only produces when pregnant and must produce in order to sustain a pregnancy. If you 're trying to get pregnant, maybe you're just too anxious. Relax about it and you'll have a better chance. Stress can cause missed periods. Good luck to you.
