Those two fish can be fine together, but the tank has to be WAY bigger than 1 gallon. Almost nothing can live in a 1 gallon except a lone betta.

I'm so sick of this betta thing...... Betta's can be kept with many fish! just not each other, not with fish that have a tendency to nip fins, and not in a 1 gallon tank. Angels can be aggresive and will eventually start picking at the betta. I would not suggest even thinking about an angel without having a 20 gallon or larger tank. They do grow bigger and can be more sensitive to water conditions then many other fish. The person who put them with zebra danios was lucky.... zebras will often go after slow moving fish with long fins.

Wow...it is really terrible to see how misinformed people are about Betta's in general. They can be kept with many other fish..just not with other male bettas because they fight like many other animals do to insure the best genes get passed on in the wild. They are not the selectively bred "fighting fish" that everyone thinks they are. They may be aggressive at times to other colorful fish with longer tails...but in decent sized tank they are just fine. I had one in a community tank for nearly 5 years.
Everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that you said the tank is only one gallon...that is the more important issue. That tank is much to small for anything else. Angelfish can get quite large and need about 30 gallons. She needs a larger tank if she wants to keep anything besides the Betta in it.

No it is NOT ok.
Bettas can be paired with fish that are small and peaceful and do not have long flowing fins like the betta.
1 gallon is too small. Angelfish do betta in tall tanks because of their body structure and are delicate as compared to the betta. You cannot have them in the same tank.

You may not put a betta fish with any other fish especialy a angel fish. Both of these fish are notorious for being extremely aggressive.
The male betta fish can only be put with a female betta and even while doing so there is a 75 percent chance that the male will kill the female before breeding and a 100 percent chance it will kill it and its babies after breeding.
Also im guesing you have an angel fish already, keep it alone or else it will fight with beta eventualy causing the betta do die.
Although through my experience, bettas do not outright attack other fish unless they are other male bettas, usualy it is the result of the other fish attacking them that they retaliate. Bettas are not very aggressive when it comes to fish that are larger then them
As i always say bettas are just goldfish but cost more. To me they are food for my flower horns lol

If you get a frog -you got to keep it totally covered or it will crawl out
other way around-true angel fish are agressive and will bite at the flowing fins-but a betta is a fighting fish-and if the angel fish attacks it-the betta will destroy the angel fish-in my guestamation
they actually bet on the betta's and fight them like pit bulls sick as that is
the angel fish if you tap the glass will turn light in fear-it wont grow in a 1 gallon tank-the bigger the thank the more it will grow like a gold fish does-and that makes life harder for the betta-to get its air
the betta needs entertainment-the best is a buddy= a mirror it will fight the mirror -dont leave it up more than 5 minutes at a time-it will flame up-keeps em from getting bored.
if the tank is heated-it should be at 75-80 degrees-ask at the bet store or look in the betta tanks to see any fish with them-usually they are kept in small bowls-they have to breathe top air-so even 1 gallon as it rests on the bottom is a trip to get air.
never put two male betta's together they will fight to the death -they are territorial-in Jesus amazing grace and thanks

No, it is not Ok. Bettas and Angel fish tend to be VERY aggressive and a one on one living style is not a good idea. (unless you prefer a couple of dead fish) For the sake of both fish, don't pair them. And yes, a larger tank around the 10 gal size may be a better idea, not to mention more enjoyable.

nope!! The angel fish will peck at the beta. Angel fish.. even though they look really delicate and graceful, theyre actually not the best community fish. They'll eat at the fins or tiny, slow fish or ones with flowing fins. my suggestion would be tetras, or an african dwarf frog. Debra danios are find with beta.. thats what i had in my tank for a long time and they were fine! :)
In regards to should she get a bigger one... one suqare inch of fish per gallon.
