Civil rights movement, assaisnations of Pres Kennedy, Martin Luther King jr, Robert Kennedy, drug over doses of Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, election of Pres Nixon, Jackie Kennedy married Onasis, Women's lib movement, blacks got the right to vote, desegregation, Vietnam started, Beatles became first foriegn group to be accepted and have a hit record in the United States, Man's exploration of outer space, first into orbit and then landing on the moon.

Those are events just off the top of my head, I know there are lots more!

Lessons we learned from the sixties-
Make love not war
Give Peace a chance
Don't do drugs!
A woman can do what a man can do - sometimes even better.
A person's skin color or country of origin does not make them any less equal than any other human being.
Rock n Roll is here to stay!

30 and 30 makes 60. I am 60. I don't have the time to tell anyone 60 things. The most important lesson I hope was passed on is that this world is rife with dirty bastards( we used to call them capitalist pigs) but society must evolve regardless of what hindrances they project at us. Keep the Faith.
