No thats for stomach acid. Use tylenol or midol. Take a hot bath too that helps. Massage your uterus area that helps too. Walking can make it sore or standing for too long. Wear loose pants around the waist. Use pads tampons can cause cramps. U have to relax the area. The pain is only the first two or so days, the period last five to seven.

Tums is usually for upset stomach. It will not do anygood for a cramps. Ibprofin is really good for pms and cramps. If you do not have that tylenol will work, or just use a heating pad. Periods can last 3-7 days normally.

Tums won't help. Try ibuprofen and a heating pad. It will usually last for 5-7 days. Good luck!!!

I usually take advils for cramps.I also start taking them a few hours before I start .Sometimes when my period starts out light like yours, my cramps are really bad for the first day and it usually gradually turns into a nomal flow by day 2.
