Geo W was like Huck Finn before 9/11, a likeable hick, then somehow everyone viewed his response to 9/11 as heroic & Presidential and gave him carte blanc to wage war upon the World,,,,,

Peace,,,,

If 9/11 had never happened, the Lib-Tards would be screaming and crying about something else just as loudly. It's called politics.

Before 9/11 people were still mad about how he "stole" the election.

Wars are never popular especially when we actually start losing family members. If he had one without problems it would be alot different. I can only imagine how world war 2 would have turned out if we fought with as little resolve.

As a Canadian, I did not pay close attention to American politics until then. I feel that Mr. Bush may be taking the war on terror too far at times (IE. the weapons of mass destruction that were never found). This is just one man's opinion of course.

My opinions are the same as they were before 9/11. I didn't vote for him because I knew he would lead this country down the wrong road.

He did as exactly as I predicted...

I remember salivating at the prospect of school vouchers! I thought, what a SMART idea. Now I am just happy when he is kind to the troops.

Most of the Neo Cons thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. As for evil liberals like me...we thought he was a bone head then because of the "no child left behind." Come see our town and what thats done to childrens education. Increased drop out rates. Increased school teacher firings. The BS continues.

Mine were. I thought his execution of the Afghan conflict was impressive prior to his true nature being revealed. Then Rummy's, failed, limited personnel tactics (less troops, more technology) blew the momentum in Afghan.

I told my conservative friends that invading Iraq would be a fiasco when the debate began. I told them that it wouldn't be the "cake walk" they were misled to believe. I told them that Iraq had too much debt for their oil to pay for the war.

Bush took the initial success of the Afghan war and convinced the masses that Iraq would be just as easy to succeed in.

I told you so just doesn't cut it...

Yeah, actually, my opinion is worse now.

The evening of 9/11, he gave this passionate speech about finding Osama bin Laden and bringing him to justice.

Then he admitted he doesn't spend much time on Osama.

To me, honestly, the most important message we could send the world is finding that monster and executing him live, on television, in front of the world. Preferably by beheading, but if we choose to use a more humane way, so be it, as long as we kill him.

Bush is more concerned about playing in his little sandbox in Iraq than he is with punishing the man who murdered 3,000 Americans in one day.

I think that's shameful.
