I will root for Toronto to do just that all year long! I think they will have to win outright -the entire division-because lets face it---the Central is STACKED and four teams in the Central could win that division or take the Wild Card. As far as the BlueJays--I could care less what Steinbrenner spends-it has got him nothing for a long time. Steinbrenner won titels with team players who had chemistry and desire (Tino Martinez,Jeter,O'Neill,Stanton,Williams)-that's LONGGGG gone. Boston pitching will be tough -I actually can see Toronto staying competitive all year long in that division that is no longer the toughest in the A.L.

First of all I would like to see the Blue Jays finish ahead of the Yankees and Red Sox both. Nobody can out spend the Yankees and Red Sox. If the Blue Jays finished ahead of the Yankees and Red Sox both it would serve the both of them right. For the Blue Jays to make the playoffs they would have to finish at least second in the Al East. Roy Halladay would have to be healthy for the whole year for them to have a chance. Aside from Halladay I don't think the Blue Jays can get enough pitching. I hope they can.

Yes, they will be the wild card team. They will finish second to the Yankees in the AL East with 90 plus wins.

I certainly hope so, being a Jays fan myself. But realistically I think it can be done if we have both Halladay and Burnett for a full year. Our offense is as fearsome there is, so if the pitching is intact, there's no reason not to hope!

No. They will come in third in their division behind the division winner, the Boston Red Sox and the second place NY Yankees.

Chow!!

I hope so but I doubt it. The Wild Card is a possibility, but it's remote. They could surprise people though.
