It's not necessarily insensitivity, but that some men can separate feelings of love from feelings of sex.
We can see a woman, have hot, lustful sex thoughts about her. potentially have sex with her and be on our way.
Scary, isn't it?

Well the first part probably is that men and women think on different levels. Unfortunately men tend to be a little superficial when it comes to matters of the heart or sex. After all thats what we've been taught for centuries. It's easier to go thru life acting shallow and not risking your heart that way you don't have to worry about getting hurt. On the bright side, not all men have listened to what we were taught and some of us do live life with our feelings on our sleeve and do go into encounters with feelings all ready to be stomped on, because beyond popular belief there are women out there who act the same way, it's just most men aren't open enough to talk about them because it would mean admitting a weakness in them.

The sex drive in men is extremely strong - in some, it is overwhelming. Given the right combination of circumstances and opportunities, most guys will get to a point of no return and have full intercourse. A few men are simply out of control and are essentially sex criminals or addicts or both.
Women have to be very cautious and careful with whom they date and with whom they are alone.
I would hope that a majority of men have enough moral and ethical principles to put on the brakes if there are no feelings of respect, trust, and love. But, unfortunately, the woman is the one that calls the shots. You have to be strong, wise, and always on guard. Sorry - that's life.

I couldn't do it. It's too personal not to have feelings for that person. Even drunk I couldn't have sex with some girl that I didn't like. Honestly, I have to have feelings for her to have sex with her. On the other hand I've known some women that have acted the same way. I don't think that it's gender specific. Sorry you got hurt though.

They just are not as emotional as women. I don't think all men are that way though but, it seems to be typical of younger guys. I think it's up to women to also be objective when selecting a man. That is if it is of a big concern to not have your heart broken by a man who is just looking for a fling invest the time to get to know him.
