I hope so. I guess only time will tell.

In 2003, was it right for Beckham to leave Man U and go to Real Madrid? I'm sure back in 2003, it seemed like the right thing to do. Looking back now, maybe that wasn't the right thing to do since Capello kept him on the bench for a lot of matches. But that did not become apparent until last year.

I don't think he has any illusions of making soccer as popular as US football or basketball or baseball when he joins Galaxy. But I believe that he wants to encourage the younger players to continue playing soccer beyond high school and college. By doing so, maybe he will help increase the pool of good US soccer players who can join the MLS or EPL and other European leagues.

No, to be honest the USA does not know real football, I believe he will bring some new life into the game, yet football is not really that big in the USA. People here focus on american football, baseball, and basketball. People are going to look at him for a minute then they will turn back. I also believe that the way he plays will change, look at Ronaldhino..he used to play like a Brazilian. Now he plays like a European, he had to adjust. And so will Beckham.

simply by wreck, he truthfully did no longer too very plenty for the Galaxy on the sphere. Off the sphere inspite of the undeniable fact that, i think of his presence interior the MLS became a fulfillment, no longer as much as all of us had was hoping for needless to say however the undeniable fact that maximum communities the two had sell-outs or checklist crowds has to cost as a qualified fulfillment. I additionally think of his signing gave the league somewhat greater credibility between the activities fraternity in North united statesa. and could be effective interior the long-term.

I don't think that he made the right choice. A long time ago, they tried doing the same thing by bringing Beckenbower and Pele to the states, but they weren't really noticed as much anymore.
