Just before the World Cup commenced, Australians faced humiliating defeats but in the World Cup matches their show has been spectacular. Did we write off australia as a condemned and defunked team. No! similarly, India has the potential to do better, if not now, a little time later. Only the right spirit & enthusiasm should prevail in the Indian team. Who had ever guessed that India would win the world cup some years ago when we were just above the minnows state of affairs. Time is the only best medicine. Wait & Watch

India always trust batsmen over bowlers, thats the fault
because they kept happy when Zaheer got some good swingers in the pitch !! but they forgot that if zaheer is able to swing then how would Murali and vass will be bowling.. thats the point where they failed to think !!
Indian team never changes fielding arrangements according to the favourite area of batsmen in the play,
i am telling the truth !! i know sachin will not play well in a chasing match , only yuvraj and dravid are always match winners , but if yuvraj could have been a little conscious we could have win ,
coming to the bowlers , nobody utilized Bouncers but used extras
change team like 5 batsmen, 3 allrounders , 3 bowlers that will work ,

The reason for India's debacle in the world cup was due to collective failure of batsmen and bowlers. The team playing in the world cup was considered the best available in the country and were expected to show better performance. What is surprising is that the batting line up of India which has been considered the strength of Indian team failed miserably in the matches against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and the bowlers were erratic in their line and length and the accuracy. Fielders were waiting for the ball come to them instead of chasing the ball and prevent runs.

They have hit us in the heart and made us all weep for their failure. Let us hit them in their pockets where they have stashed their gain from the advertisements and endorsements.

Each player in the team should be asked to give back atlease 50% of his income from other sources since the last world cup. The funds collected should be used to start a Cricket Academy which can spot and train new players.

And yes, the players in the current team should also be asked to do community-service by giving free coaching and training at the Academy till the next world cup.

Howzzat?

I would say its a collective failure - entire nation put so much thrust on the team; sports administration looks the game as money spinning tool; advertisers spends enormous amount of money to the players for the endorsement of their products; and so players do well in front of the camera than the real audience - choked under pressure.

well personally i feel that the whole team is equally responsible for the loss, not any individual.as far as i know they lacked co-operation.but the current situation among the people of India is just ridiculous.pelting stones at the players' houses, burning their posters, is just so uncivilized.they are human beings, after all.i agree that it is disappointing but then there is a limit for everything, don't you agree?
P.S-i think it's hightime dhoni had his haircut!!
