The poor old soul is on her last legs last I heard.
She turns 82 this year.
She probably just wants a warm cup of cocoa and an early night.

of what country? the United Kingdom doesn't have a Governor General and I doubt any Commonwealth country would petition for a foreigner as a Governor-General

No, she is too partisan a figure even in other countries. However I think it would be nice to back to having royals representing the Crown in the dominions as opposed to clapped-out politicians and obscure TV presenters whose sole qualification is ticking certain politically correct boxes.

Well here in australia it is almost a prerequisite that to be governor-general, no one is to have ever heard of you.
We don't know their name, what they look like, unless they do stupid things like kicking out gough whltlam, the only good PM we've ever had.
As for the person that said she was "a good leader" do you even know who she is???

For me, it depends how much the public there want her around. I think it would be a good idea, she was a great leader.
