Can Kenetic energy be visible in the air?
I dont know about kenetic energy but I did see something once that resembled the refective pattern of light on a lake once. Someone told me that it was kenetic energy. can it be visible in the air? I saw something and cant explain it. can ultra violet light or any gas make this type of energy visible?

what I saw was at night : a blue see-through light with a patern in a lighter aqua color undulating a whipy pattern within that looks like the pattern on water. I was very scared and ran but i want to know what it was.

Kinetic Energy is energy of an object due to its motion [or moving energy].
In general, most energy cant be seen, [with the important exception of visible light], and this includes kinetic energy - you can see the effect of it in a falling object or the waves at the beach... you can see the medium through which the energy travels but you cannot see the actual energy.

No, The kinetic energy of an object is the extra energy which it possesses due to its motion. It is defined as the work needed to accelerate a body of a given mass from rest to its current velocity. Having gained this energy during its acceleration, the body maintains this kinetic energy unless its speed changes. Negative work of the same magnitude would be required to return the body to a state of rest from that velocity.
