She probably felt that was the only way to reconnect with her mother...like a little kid when they get scared at night will usually crawl into bed with parents for security

Ask the mother what was wrong...she'll probably tell you that her daughter felt nervious about something or was going through a hard time

Sometimes just holding someones hand is not enough...when my dad was in the hospital i wanted nothing more than to give him a hug but the wires prevented but closeness between human beings in needed and the love between mother and daughter is usually a strong bond

It is a little odd for my standards, but there is a lot to be said about the therapy of the human touch. Maybe she or her mother needed comforting.

Did she just lay next to her to comfort her or crawl under the covers and stuff, big difference?

Some Moms and kids are just really close. I would do it if I wanted to hold my mother or my child. Touch is very healing.

Not pure love. It would be pure love if the mother was never in a nursing home and lived in her daughter's house instead. That is what I call love. Love is taking care of your parents! Hellooooo!

Would I think of it as odd? Probably, but I'd just chalk it up as a desire to be close and go on about my business.

no. that is very touching.
some people are very close with their parents and obviously if the mother is in a home, the woman feels the need to be close to her.

No I don't I think it's wonderful that she loves her Mom so much that she doesn't let what people see bother her. Maybe her Mom needed some comfort.

No when I go to visit my mom I always get on her bed. My daughter comes over and gets in my bed with me and so do my grandkids.....I have a king size bed....I think it's sweet.
