He spent his entire life surrounded by a close group of men, sharing everything and teaching "brotherly love." Yeah, he was gay.

There are many trains of thought on this. One is that since he hung out with guys all the time he must be gay.
Some thing he married Mary Magdalen and had a child.
Another idea is that he may have been a sort of High Priest as he had a group of 12 followers. This is the accepted size of a coven in pagan religions.
Another is the he was the Son of God who lived a truly pure life until he died as foretold in prophecies to save mankind.

Who said he never married. Have you ever read "The Gospel of Mary" in the Bible? The Gospel was removed from the Bible but you can check for it on the internet. It's also said there may have been a child from the union. The Catholics tried to suppress this Gospel and they thought they had destroyed it, until it was unearthed in the 1960's. FYI I am a Catholic. Man wrote the Bible,(man has changed the Bible), the Bible was not written by God. Who cares if Jesus was gay.

nicely, i'm an atheist, and jointly as we don't examine that Jesus had a female buddy, we don't examine that he had a boyfriend the two. As a historian, I would desire to warning you against "examining between the strains" in a lots tweaked and thoroughly unreliable, non-historic piece of writing like the Bible. you would be unable to draw any conclusions approximately Jesus or everyone reported in the Bible, because of the fact it is not a historic checklist of any variety. So do not even attempt.

I think he was gay, not just because he did not marry, that in itself is not an indicator, but he never had a relationship ever with a woman and only ever spent his time in the company of men. Explain that!

I note from the ratings of the answers that there must be a lot of Queers out there, either that or the Muslim extremists are trying to twist the result.
Jesus, could not be a Queer as he is a direct relation to God and as has been stated before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for just this sin.
This means that at some time in the future, London will be destroyed for passing laws that almost make being Queer mandatory.

He married Mary the Magdalen you plank, and I am not some kind of religous fanatic spouting off random sections of the bible like some nutters here either. Read beyond your King James Bible & find the truth.
The religous nutters here are just as bad as certain Muslims that pluck bits out of the Koran & use it as a pretext to spout their religous bile propaganda.

Absolutely not. He never married because He is part of the Godhead. He was and is divine... Marriage was a conceding in some ways, a blessing in others from the perspective of God, from what I understand, having taken a fair amount of theology. God ordains marriage, but to marry would have meant having sex, which may have let to conception. That would have meant he sinned - at least in that culture... Mary's DNA would have been passed on through Him.
The theory my theology prof had is this... Full Divine DNA from the Father (God) and full human DNA from Mary... Jesus would have been a male replica of his mother. But to pass on the DNA of God would have made a line of people divine. That wasn't part of the plan. The plan was sacrifice... and love.

People now reckon he married and had kids with that prostitute Mary Magdalene.He also spent lots of time hanging round with single men talking about love so I reckon he was bi.
