The Stamp Act kept people from buying stamps. King George XVI of England, who was Dutch, did not want Americans buying stamps to send letters home to England.

The Declatory act was against people's rights to buy beer.

The Townshend Acts were enforced by Pete Townshend and Keith Moon, two british generals.

The Tea Act made it mandatory that people should drink tea instead of coffee. Americans revolted.

The Intolerable Acts were the acts of intoleration that the British did against the americans, like the law that said all Americans must put their coats over a mud puddle so the Queen could walk over them if it rained.

The Quebec Act was to make sure Quebec never existed.

Read the Declaration of Independence.

But basically it was argued they violated self-determination, a collective (not individual) right to pass the laws one must live under.
