Sajaya is still on American Idol because he has singing talent and American voted for him. Its not rocket science really....to figure that out.

I think people are voting for him to make a mockery of the show!
Sanjaya Malakar, 17, is from Federal Way, WA. He auditioned in Seattle with his sister, who was eliminated at the Hollywood stage of the competition. Sanjaya says he started singing as a little boy and had formal singing training.
Sanjaya, who spent four years performing with the Hawaii Children Theater, claims he is a shy person and says "I'm scared that I'll never be able to walk into a supermarket without someone recognizing me." His music idol is Stevie Wonder.

TooMuchTv is right about the website & I've sourced it below. This site should be removed by Fox's executives at the network & they should sue these girls & their parents for skewering the voting results.
I vote for the best each week & spend almost the whole 2 hours allotted to vote on my favorites. Sanjaya is NOT one of them & neither is Haley. BOTH need to go this week & next week. Then we'll have a decent competition to vote on again.
Blake's beatboxing won't last too much longer either. Both Chris' won't make it too far either & neither will Gina or Phil. The end is going to be between Lakisha, Jordin & Melinda

There is this woman on youtube who is starving herself until Sanjaya is voted off. With the people in this world, they all want her to starve so many people voted for her you can read the comments here:

There's a web site called votefortheworst.com, and I heard that Howard Stern asked his listeners to vote for the worst singer to make a mockery out of the show.

Oh god, I wish I knew. His hair alone is reason enough for him to get the boot. And he can't even carry a tune! I switch the channel when he starts singing.
