someof my friends play these and i was wondering are they both free to play and have no viruses

Are they both free and have no viruses? Also can you chat with your friends and make avatars?

Neither have viruses and are both free, but make sure to NEVER download anything that people may send to you. People on MapleStory will often direct you towards "hacks" so you can get infinite money and what not, but most of the time it's nothing but a scam to get you to give them money in return, to keylog you and get your account information, or both!! But play it safe and you'll have nothing to worry about!

Maplestory and Endless Online are both free to play and have no viruses...I hope this helps!

MapleStory has all the conditions you require(+ cute graphics!)... Also, it is more fun if you have friends to play it with (real life or cyber friends). Just be wary of scammers. (:
