ray, to call Kevin Martin the "most surprising" player is absurd. If a casual fan like myself could see his increased production coming (largely due to the departure of Bonzi Wells), I'm certain that diehard fans also saw it coming.

Anyway, that's WAY off-topic. To me, the most disappointing player in the NBA is a toss-up between Boris Diaw and Chris Kaman. I'm disappointed in Jerry Sloan for AK's down season, as Sloan is the guy who calls the plays Deron Williams runs for Utah, and I'm even more disappointed that there's little-to-no relief in sight this season, as the trade deadline passed with AK still wearing a Jazz jersey.

So many players, so little time. Let's start with Andrea Bargnani. The guy was the #1 pick in the draft and you barely ever hear about him. I don't know if it's because he is from a different country other than America (It seems that foreign players take a longer time to adjust to the NBA) or what.
Then we got Ron Artest. He just can't do anything right. He can possibly go to jail for a year.
I'm not saying LeBron James dissapoints me or anything, but at the beginning of the season, I was pumped about wanting him to get MVP. His numbers went down from last season's averages of 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists to this season's 27 points, 7 rebounds, and under 6 assists. I think his expectations were too high for him this year because of how great he did last year.

WOW there is so many where do you start. I would have to agree with Ron Artest , when traded from the Pacers he was talked about being a top ten player in the league now the guy is in trouble with his game and off the field. He let the kings down, the NBA down again and everyone around him over all he has been the most disappointing player.

First of all you can't pick a rookie, because half of the first round picks in the league are out after a few years anyway, and it's fairly rare for rookies to average more than 15 points a game.

The biggest disappointment really has to be Andre Kirelinko. with a point guard who can effectively distribute the ball there, his PPG is half of what it has been in past years and his blocks steals rebounds and assists are all down significantly. He's lost as a disappointment though because he's on a good team. The most disappointing team has to the Clippers and the most surprising player is probably Kevin Martin.

it HAS 2 b either mike james (who is coming off a break out season with toronto) or adre kirilenko (former do it all man). mike james' season has been so bad thats hes even lost his starting job more than once. note that 1 of those times he lost his starting spot 2 a rookie. kirilenko used 2 actually kno how to play basketball. now hes lucky if he can even score 10 pts wen he used 2 have the potential 2 reach double digit figures in every category. take ur pick theyre both terrible

Ron Artest

Ron Artest is the obvious choice, because he has, again, let down his fans and teammates with his latest legal woes.

However, I would opt for Grant Hill, who never played up to his potential since leaving the Pistons for the Magic, due to injuries.

Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva. Being a Piston fan I had extreme hopes they could be something specific yet they have became out to be no longer something greater advantageous than stable and overpaid pickups. i think of a few of their struggles could be attributed to injuries although.
