Yes Kobe's offensive game is more devloped then Jordan's..
just look at Kobe's outside shot...Jordan never had that range on a consistent basis!..and Kobe can get inside the same as MJ....Kobe is just a little better!
It's amazing how many people think Jordan was a team player.....He never liked to pass the rock!..the Bulls were great without MJ......
_____________________________________________
I said the Bulls were a great(Not a championship team) team...without MJ..my piont is Pippen almost led the Bulls to the Finals without MJ...PIP..BJ..Horace were all allstars(never .. all 3 at the time with MJ there)when MJ left...thay had there best statistical year of there careers without the man who supposedly made them better!...if not for a bad call they may have went to the finals without MJ..of course if you put MJ on the team it put's them over the top...put Clyde Drexler on that team and they would have won 6 chips....fact is without Pippen MJ never had a winning record...Pippen has won in Chicago(w/o MJ..in portland...and in Houston.....MJ needed Pip...more then PiP needed MJ!...it's a fact!

This is a bit unfair comparison because these two people are from different generations and in a different era.The answer to the question would be Kobe because the rules now are made for perimeter players, one of the strengths of Kobe's unbelievable scoring prowess.Kobe has a mediocre team so that makes him want to score more because he has no other teammate that can relieve him of this burden, unlike Jordan where he had Pippen.Kobe will be the better scorer because of the fact that he has the record of the 2nd most points scored in a game(81).Kobe has a much more refined scoring game compared to Jordan,he can score easily even though he is guarded closely and with a hand in his face!however Michael is a better passer and defender and team player.

Ok... the best jump shot you've EVER seen???
Than may be a little much, but I don't know how old you are.
Until you show me ANYONE who shot the ball more consistently than Bird, i can't go with that one. Kobe can shoot. But no one was better with a clutch jumper than Bird (or 3 point shoot outs for that matter). The guy let a money ball shot fly to win and held the #1 up walking away before it hit!
Back to business. I think Kobe and Jordan are even in the category of scorer. Heres why...
Jordan did the same thing (in the 80's) that Kobe's doing with the Lakers now. They both put up numbers because their teams NEEDED it.
Jordan didn't need the consistent jumper early in his career because he got to the rim so regularly. He developed his jumper in the L for a lot of reasons (one of which is the Knick no layup rule... ie bash anyone coming to the rim).
Which brings me to the double nickel game.
One, you can't compare the teams Kobe just torched to the 95 Knicks that Jordan torched. Kobe torched Portland Minnesota Memphis and New Orleans. I'm not disrespecting 50+... but those 4 teams SUCK compared to the 95 Knicks. They were in the finals in 94.
Two, Jordan was back from baseball 12 DAYS when he went to MSG for that game. Thats right. Look it up. 12 days.
So it wasn't an easy 55 because he was playing the defending eastern conf champions coming out of retirement.

Kobe and Jordan hum I still think Jordan done it better Look to much crap surrounds Kobe ( dirty player, can't get along with team mates so many more things to list. Jordan scored his points just as easy as Kobe does his most of the time Kobe and most of the time Kobe is putting up hella shots that's all the kid ever done was shoot all the time, no team skills what so ever Jordan won his rings with different players and no real big man threat, Kobe won't be able to do that because no one on the team looks up to him and they don't respect him . Kobe if you watch side by side tapes of him and MJ there shots are alot alike. Say what you will but Kobe still will never live up to MJ. He has already lost what made MJ the man and that appeal he don't have the total package like MJ and I'm a Kobe fan. THE BULLS WERE GREAT WITHOUT MJ WHAT HOW MANY RINGS DID THEY WIN WITHOUT HIM EXACTLY NONE THEY DON'T MEASURE GREATNESS WITH HAVING RINGS TO BACK IT UP YOU ALWAYS HERE WELL HE WAS GOOD BUT NEVER WON THE BIG ONE. OWNERS WANT CHAMPIONSHIPS THATS ALL THEY AND THEY FANS WANT .

Jordan is a greater scorer palms down, I imply I dont recognise when you have noticeable Jordan play, however he simplest ignored very difficult photographs, he constantly shot above 50% from the discipline, Kobe is a greater shooter than Jordan however he isn't the greater total scorer, Kobe has to take too many photographs in line with recreation to maintain typical like Jordans

Yes. Definitely yes.
For people out there, Jordan is relying on inside shots, not outside. Kobe relies everywhere, he's the master of the rim, for everyone to know. He can go there anytime, anywhere he wants to.
Right now, he's just showing why he's greater than Chamberlain.
Chamberlain, in his times, is the tallest player, that's why he scored 100, bcoz he overplayed his opponents.
But not Kobe, he is a guard and still overplays anybody he wants to.
He has drove past almost all of his NBA defenders. ANYTIME he wanted.
Kobe is arguably the greatest scorer.
And for everybody to know, The Zen Master gave him the license to shoot.

If Jordan was on the Laker's team now, he could score 60 points whenever he wanted too, but instead he would score about 35 and make his teammates better so they would be in 1st place. As good a scorer as Jordan was, he recognized the value of playing as a team.

Ray Allen has the best jump shot, but Kobe will go down as the greatest scorer in history by the time he hangs em up.

Its tough to compare since the rules are different now than back than. In Jordan's prime defenders were allowed to handcheck and just play more physical. Nowadays you can't touch guys on the perimeter., everything is a foul. But i do agree that kobe is a better shooter than MJ.

kobe is a pretty good scorer, but he falls behind people like jordan, (he got to the hoop, so he didn't NEED to rely on his jumpshot like kobe is during this 4 game 50pt streak), Wilt Chamberlain (he almost AVERAGED 50 points in a season), Allen Iverson (The Answer is used to making impossible shots, and makes them when it comes crunch time.), and Pete Maravich (he was one awesome dribbler, and scored at will) Julius Erving (he was known as Dr. J for a reason, he would 'slice' through the defense), Larry Bird (Master shooter and play maker, although not as good at making plays as Magic Johnson), Kareem Aldujabar (his sky hook was unstoppable) etc..
