there is a rumor that he is leaving at the end of this year, but i'm not sure.

Not yet (I hope). If WWE executives are smart -which they are- they realize that there is $$$ to be made with the Undertaker in live events. Now the Undertaker is a main draw for any show - and that's even without a title belt around his waist. BUT, I feel that with him as the champion - it would be an even bigger advantage for WWE to draw in bigger audiences to live events. His "streak" to continue would be a big PLUS - and on the other hand, to have his streak end would be a HUGE mistake. Face it, Undertaker is a "legend". No retirement for a while should be in the immediate plans for him and the WWE. Let him go to even greater heights as a 5-time world champion - - - then maybe retirement. BUT NOT NOW.

Undertaker is going to retire by the end of this year and then be an agent for the wwe starting in 2008.

I don't think he will retire for a while. He is about to become the champion on Smackdown! He has to sweet of a deal, he basically seems to wrestle when he feels like it.
