Ballpark would be $3,500 to $4,000. That would be your starting point. Since you are beginning, you need to call a well drilling company and get an estimate. Then, call a few more companies and have them come out, too......the more actual price would be knowing where on your land the drilling company will most likely find a good and steady source of water. This takes a lot of experience, and they could still be off. You may need a separate company for the septic and field.....and more estimates...price can also vary by how far from the house they need to go....plus tank. And, you will also have to have the underground tank emptied every 4 years more or less depending on how many in household....which I found out just last year! Ugh! It is all worth it ....good luck!
Get your estimates....and make sure to get a time frame....as to project length.

I would guess about 15 to 25 dollars a foot anywhere for a well now. Where your talking if it's in rock you can figure more. For a septic start at about 12 grand and go from there. This would be for a above ground septic, the most modern. Not many places put in drain fields anymore. That well wouldn't include the well tank and pump and all the goodies.
