I know people immediately judge people in a bad way do to their speech and communication. It's more harshful in America, but what about other places such as Africa, Australia, Europe, and etc.

You might always face people who have problems to deal with diabilities. they either act in an insulting way or they try to "act" normal. In Germany the care for disabled people is rather good and there are lots of institutions and special learning centers and after school education. In Egypt e.g. there are very little opportunities for kids with learning disabilities, especially if you cannot afford a private school. I can tell you about those countries because I have lived there with my disabled daughter.
In both countries however my daughter found nice classmates but she was always kind of excluded. And of course we had to deal with serious insults as well. May be the attitude in other parts of the world is different but I doubt. People are people, so to speak.
The best way for us to deal with it was to get as much education as she could and try to find a place to work with an institution or organization that deals with disabled people. So she is not an outsider at least in her community and developed selfconfidence in public.
Hope that helped you somehow.

My own son had a very severe speech and language delay. we lived in Northern Ireland. People who didn't know him thought he was stupid. At times I thought I was the only person who could see how intelligent he actually was. I would have to say that the speech and language therapists were fantastic and that in general the professionals were excellent. I think part of it is the association we have that if you have any impairment this means you aren't clever. It's a lack of understanding that needs to be addressed and I believe people in general are becoming better at seeing past the impairment and seeing the person. I just hope this becomes more widespread....

Many countries outside of the US are now expanding the ability to train teachers to handle students with learning and speech disabilities. I went to a special school for children who had learning and speech disabilities who held a conference annually for specialists from around the country and world where they can learn things to take back to where they're from to improve the quality of education or even their research projects.

Ugh, i've got faith your discomfort, I even have had this comparable situation with my mothers and dads and my in regulations at cases wtih my 5 300 and sixty 5 days old son who has PDD NOS. My son additionally blends in great and you does not understand there grew to become right into a element incorrect with him except informed. i could distinctly lots tell them precisely what you state right here. Its what I informed my family contributors. I truly informed my family contributors that i'm not in any way ashamed of my son or his incapacity. besides the shown fact that, human beings and young ones would have preconceived notions of a toddler with autism. ANd that his life would be confusing adequate, and that i could particularly not publicize his incapacity - i could particularly young ones and oldsters meet him first, make their own judgements approximately him, and if it comes up, i'm unlikely to lie, yet i'm unlikely to point it. he's a lot extra advantageous than his incapacity. i'm getting the comments continuously from my inlaws approximately how nicely my son is doing and "he would be purely high-quality" and you recognize, for the main area I purely smile and nod and blow it off. i understand they advise nicely. on your case, i could communicate getting them to quit publicizing your son's incapacity - state what you do right here, which you do not want him judged, etc. and that i agree, get his image off the information superhighway website, tell them its a secure practices venture. As for their enter to you approximately his advancements, and treatments and whatnot..... attempt to easily nod and smile and alter the priority. they do advise nicely, they are purely ignorant (i'm not asserting this to be advise, they simply are actually not on your place). stable success!
