They alway's show them wearing full face metal visor's,wouldn't that prevent this

I dunno. If you know histroy, the Spartans were homosexual. they had them be this way to fight harder for their "loved ones". Seriously. Maybe they had metal bed posts back then.

Not true. I watched 300 Spartans yday and the only guys with scars were obviously whacked with swords, spears or arrows. Not all of them wore full face visors.

Kind of tough to shave through a full-face metal visor. Unfortunately, Norelco didn't exist back then.
