I had an abortion 2 days ago and I am having upper abdomen pain towards my right side it hurts a lot. I did vomit but that could be from the medicines the doctors gave me. Can I get some advice please if this is normal or not ?

I highly suggest that you call the clinic that performed the procedure, just in case you are having complications. While pain after an abortion is generally normal, it is always important to just call the clinic and check with them anyways.

hey I had one too. last summer, and there was a chance that there could have been a part of the fetus left in me, so they checked and there wasnt. it was just bad bad bad cramps/yuor uterus is contracting back together and it DOES hurt very bad. the 2nd day mine was horrible. i couldnt sleep was up crying all night so the next day i went to the hospital and they checked me and all and gave me meds... so You should go to the DR or hospital and check to make sure because there IS a chance they left some fetus inside you.. What method was used?
You could have air under your diaphragm. In which case only time will get you better.
If you bled a lot you may have anaemia. If you had a general anaesthetic you could have spastic bowel in which case eating will create an obstruction........etc etc etc it could be anything.
GO TO A DOCTOR. It is stupid to ask these sorts of health questions on a site like this, waste no more time dear girl, its your life!!!!!!

trust me here....the pain is normal..and will last about 4 days. Stay on the pain meds...and do not do any heavy lifting yet. If you are concerned call the clinic that did the procedure. The pain kinda feels like someone scraped out your insides with a plastic knife...doesn't it?

honey, you dont need advice. You need to call your doctors nurse. Tell them what you are feeling in case its not normal. Dont neglect your body when its trying to tell you something. Dont be scared, be safe.

I wouldn't know. If the pain gets too bad, maybe you should contact your doctor. Sorry you had to have an abortion. I hope you get well soon.

no i don't think that the madicine that killed the has wore off yet i tthink that you should see your doctor for more advice
