what is Marriage? a government fee to file income taxes? since marriage is so controled by government, it is considered a social control.. A big brother over sight?

Well I'm sure it's just fine. Not every one needs, or wants to be married. If they are still together and making each other happy, who cares if they are married or not. At the end of the day a pair of rings, certificate, and happy little title, are not the things that make life worth living.

But for me it was ok. We were together 15 years and never married. depends on what you think marriage is.
Marriage to me is something to do if you are having a child. But the commitment can be there without a piece of paper saying you are man and wife.

It is a big mistake..
After age 18, Do not invest more than 2 - 3 yrs in a relationship
without marriage....Do NOT have kids out of wedlock..
Get a good Pre-Nup..

They get married after 16 years and divorce within a month and never get back together.

Some people dont believe in the whole marriage thing. They may feel like if its not broke then dont fix it. And if for some reason it dont work out we can go our separate ways without all the leagal bullshi*

Marriage is not for everyone, maybe they are happy the way the current relationship is or they are afraid of the total commitment with a marriage.

oh girl no no no he has u around with him benifitting...hmmm he is crazy cuz when u are married he benifits for a lot of things and so do u but he i a dummy for not seeing it that way....give his azz a time limit u been with thuh fool for 10 yrs and no ring yet what the ***** is wrong with his sorry ol' azz??thats not right!

my cousin and her husband just got married last year, and were together for 12 years before they wed.
it wasn't a fear of commitment, it was personal goals they wanted to achieve before becoming man and wife, and beginning a family.

Apparently marriage isn't what they want. You'd have to ask them their specific reasons. They may have had bad experiences or maybe they like the naughty feeling of "living in sin".
