no aspirin unless specifically prescribed by your OB, use tylenol instead, or generic tylenol.. ibuprophen (Motrin) is usually only recommended during 2nd trimester, it's best to stick to tylenol, if the pain is something that the tylenol won't help then speak to your OB.
Asprin can cause bleeding.

because I have a blood clotting factor my doctor told me to take a baby aspirin a day until I have a positive pregnancy test. Then I go in for Lovenox shots 2 a day. He also said I can use that in conjuction with the aspirin. Mostly not safe further in the pregnancy. Unless your doctor tells you to take it stick with tylenol.

aspirin can cause problems during pregnancy and should not be taken during pregnancy. However, if you've already taken it and are worried about the effects, it should be fine, a single dose is not going to have an effect on your pregnancy just do not use it as you go-to painkiller.

Talk to a doctor. If you have been taking it as a blood thinner then your doc may allow you to keep taking it through pregnancy. Keep in mind that the "safe" OTC meds are tylenol and sudafed, everything else SHOULD be cleared first. Good luck!

It was not the list of approved drugs from my OB. I know it is definitely not recommended during the first 10 weeks or the last month of pregnancy. During the first 10 weeks it can be harmful to the baby and during the last month it can thin your blood and cause delivery complications.

Asprin is not recommended during pregnancy. Take tylenol instead, that is considered safe!
