okay, NOW I know a little more about what LGBT must mean...
okay here come a cut and paste from a previous answer I gave...
NUT SHELL VERSION:
God gives us free will and free choice.
A TRUE Christian CHOOSES to do right by Gods laws...
Gods WORD or LAWS do NOT change, people CHANGE them to suit their consciences...
~same sex "sex" IS against Gods laws~
Christians are but messangers of GOD's LAWS... They do NOT make the LAWS,
but by GRACE of God we try to live by them...
IT is NOT a Christians JOB to JUDGE anyone~
That IS GODS JOB...
SOoooOOoooo,
Christians ARE allowed to give the anti gay reasons FROM GODS word, but are NOT allowed to tell you ,
YOU are going to hell...
THAT would be JUDGING.
By the same token, those that break Gods LAWS are ~if you will "the bad guy" in a Christians eyes,
where as Christians are the cops~
To illustrate....
If a woman BEATS her KID, and a neighbor tells her to STOP, and trys to help ~ Which person IS THE "bad guy" The neighbor? The Kid? or the woman that did the beating?
RIGHT , the woman that did the beating, because SHE broke the law.
HOWEVER, the guilty woman would treat the neighbor BAD , because it was " none of her business" BUT, the LAWenforecment agency WOULD punish the abuser.
That is why the saying "Don't shoot the messanger" exists... It is human error that we get mad at the do gooder.

GLSEN is a great place to start! I would start by contacting the closest LGBTQA+ group (even if it is miles away) and letting them know that you are interested in creating a youth group. I would love to help you find your local community group, but I don't know what region you are in.
Hopefully, this local group will be able to help you locate a gay friendly location. (A restaurant, college campus, function hall... even the library). Once you have OKed the spot and received some support, you can advertise until you can advertise no more. Remember, a lot of us are still in the closet, so you have to catch our closested family members' eyes too.
At the meeting you can discuss what everyone needs (a community, resources, a place to hang out, a group for activism etc...). From there, just let it do it's thing.
At the end of the day, have fun and be safe. There are still a lot of people who don't get it yet, but we will not stop. We won't stop being ourselves, we won't stop busting down closet doors and we will not stop loving.
No matter how far apart we all are, I stand in solidarity with you. Let me know if you need anything. bus3girl@yahoo.com

Well, it's up to you to step up! First of all, you're doing an awesome thing. *virtual high five* If you're willing to network with another group, that might be your best bet. Also, become a "public" figure - that's to say, do something that puts you out there, even if it's not directly related to GLBT activities. I actually managed to convince three girls in my dorm that lesbians are people too, quite simply by being there when they needed to borrow cooking gear, offering homework help, and - the one that a lot of girls on my floor really seem to appreciate - turning my back when someone gets out of the shower. (*I* know I'm not looking, but it's a mark of respect for them so *they* can feel comfortable, and they know it.) If you can show that you're just a person - who happens to love people of the same sex - you'll go far toward showing people that we're not some weird, freaky, sex-obsessed subculture.
Best of luck to you!

I'm not very sure, but you shouldn't listen to the comment the asshole before me made. The one that apparently has it in for gays. Wow, I hate people like that.
[EDIT:] He erased is comment. Well, that's good. I didn't want anyone thinking I was talking about them. Because I wasn't.
Anyway, I just wanted to say you're doing an awesome thing. Keep it up. Maybe search the internet for programs for LGBT's in your town?
I'm sorry I couldn't help any ..
