Where can I find the most scenic route along higway 17 and through carmel and monterey?

Take the 101 to Hi way 1 aka Pacific Coast Hi way, it will take you to Cambria and Morro Bay , very scenic but the road is a 2 lane road, you can stay on it till you get to Santa Monica then get on the any of the Eastbound freeways for Anaheim and the Magic Kingdom.

If you are looking for scenic , just go over to the cliff house , turn left and go south for 400 miles .
The good scenery is all between Pacifica and Monterrey anyway . . . then about Ventura , head down the 101.
Taking the scenic route will take about 2 days so allow enough drive time . Hi 1 is NOT the commuter route.

Hwy 17, 101 and 1 are the best scenic routes but check with AAA for an up to date mapping route.
