Getting your hair trimmed regularly and using conditioner will help it stay healthy and shiny. Avoiding chemical treatments as much as possible will also help. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies to work from the inside. On the outside, use jojoba oil treatments on your hair once a week, it washes clean. For the skin, take a multiple vitamin supplement that has some "green" in it like wheatgrass, or spirulina.
