I have to do a presentation for my genetics class. I was thinking about doing something about Huntington's disease. Do you know any other interesting topics I should talk about? The topic must be connected with gentics

I looked on www.wikipedia.org albeit not the most reliable source for research itself, but I got some ideas in addition to the Huntington's disease which happens to be named after an Ohio physican, George Huntington :) Some of the topics mentioned were Spinal Muscular Atrophy which is similar to muscular dystrophy, Sickle Cell Anemia, Hemophilia which is what Ryan White (young AIDS educator who passed on '90) had along with his brothers from Factor VIII which was a medication/treatment for those with hemophilia, and Tay-Sachs disease. I'm sure that there are many more topics to choose from. All sound so interesting. Wishing you lots of luck!
